To have what i call a “Profitable Portable Business”, you should start a business following this 3 TIME TESTED STEPS:
- Identify a need.
- Create or Find a solution for that need.
- Market it to the target audience who have that need.
Following this simple 3 STEP SYSTEM will ensure that not only will you build a PROFITABLE business, you will have a MACHINE that can provide you money at will. In my future articles I will share with you what makes up what i now come to call LA MACHINE.
STEP 1: IDENTIFY A NEED.
Starting a business by first Identifying a need increases your profitability and sustainability rate. Do you know why Nairabet is profiting handsomely from soccer?
It was built on a need!
As long as we humans will continue living here, we will keep wanting to make money. So long as we can identify an avenue through which we can make money, we will go for it (although not everybody). Take a look around you and identify the various needs people have. From accommodation needs, self esteem needs, learning needs, relationship needs, sex needs, socialization needs etc, and pick one need that would interest you to solve.
Another way to identify these needs is Internally. What are your own needs that you would like to solve? It was my need for financial independence and abundance that made me learn how to start a Portable Grasscutter Farming Business, how to market products on the internet, how to import roofing nails from china etc.
It starts from Identifying a NEED.
STEP 2: CREATE OR FIND A SOLUTION
Now that you have identified the need you want to solve, simply create a solution for it. Let us say that the need you Identified is an Internal need for example you have an urgent need for more money. A simple way to solve this problem is to sell something. To make money, you must sell something. and you can make as much as you want if you can give an equal value for the amount that you seek.
Let me share a story with you.
In the month of October last year, I needed to send a particular amount of money to my Mother. I knew i would have that money before the next 3 days. I woke up the next morning and switched on a campaign to teach my audience how to start a Portable Grasscutter Farm. Before the end of the third day i had the exact money I needed to give my mother.
I already knew a need i could easily fill to get the amount i needed. Knowing this need, i created solutions around it and also ways to deliver that solution. What was the need? My audience wanted to learn how to start a Portable Grasscutter Farming Business.
What was the Solution I created? an information about how to start a Portable Grasscutter Farming Business. I sat down and created 3 products to fill this need. The first Product was an E-book where i taught everything i knew about How to start a Portable Grasscutter farming Business.
The second product i created was a “1 on 1” seminar where i taught the person practically in my farm how to raise, handle and care for Grasscutters. The third product was where i would either organize out-door seminars for 30 people or Organize an in-house seminar for 25 people on my Farm.
STEP 3: Market it to the target audience who have that need.
After creating the Product then market it to your target audience. You can market your solution online and offline. I market my solutions both online and offline. 75% of my marketing activities are done online but before the end of this year, i intend to make it 100% online marketing. I desire a Portable Life style. A lifestyle where i have financial abundance to satisfy all my material needs. A Lifestyle where i generate 100% of the happiness and energy i use.
Marketing your product online helps you to reach more people. Today you have a media you can control-Social Media. Unlike traditional media that is beyond your control, you can control your social media accounts. You can use it to successfully grow your business.
Nigeria has monthly users of 15 million on Facebook. Your customers come online and visit Facebook almost everyday to check on their friends. Virtually everybody is on Facebook these days, and with the rate at which more smartphones are entering the market thereby causing prices of smartphones to go down, more people will come online.
So Identify a need, create or find a solution to fill that need, and market it to your target audience. If you already have a product or service but you need to acquire new customers and increase your sales, then i have what you NEED.
